I realized that with a stretch, a pony 6-pack could be forged out of the Nightmare bosses from Kingdom Hearts 3D's.

Commantis = Rainbow Dash: Commainbow! (Or Commantis Dash) The boss of the Enclop System (from "Encom System," better known as the Grid and Space Paranoids).

I was slightly torn because today I realized that a better fit for her might've been Char Clawbster, a boss that specializes in flying extremely fast and wheeling around you to dodge any attack you have short of Sonic Blade and Dark Aura...but to not over-complicate things, I stuck with the original plan, for now.
